The Reserve List

I don't know if you've heard of this term before, but i think some of you know it exists, so i'm giving it a name.

It's when somebody asks you out, but you know it's just because the other person's first choice wasn't available. Then you are on that person's reserve list.

Is it bad? Not really. It's up to you if you accept the invitation. It could be because you don't have anything better to do that day, or your first choice wasn't available too, and your reserve list just rang you up.

I know some people on some other people's reserve list. I know some people with a looooong list of people on theirs. I can't say I'm not guilty of this either (but im trying to get rid of it). But what I can say is, being on a reserve list isn't flattering. Depending on how you asked the person out, it could even be insulting.

So if you feel you are on some person's reserve list, get yourself out. (Don't ask me how, i'm still trying figuring it out.) BE WITH the person who really enjoys your company. BE WITH the person who treats you right.
